My laptop abruptly shuts down without any warning whatsoever . The battery health is fine according to HP Hardware Diagnostics. This only happens when I use it on battery . The laptop works fine when plugged in.
Also when I play high intensity games like Civilization 6 or GTA 5 , I sometimes get Blue Screen of Death like Video Internal Scheduler Error. My laptop also heats up and the fan makes a lot of noise. I always play games while the laptop is kept on a hard table and plugged in , so the fan is never blocked. Are these two issues related , what are the solutions ?

@Kuzuri77 I have a few steps that should help resolve the issue:
- Check with an alternate power cord/adapter or another wall outlet, remove any surge protectors and connect directly to the wall outlet and check if that works.
- Does the issue persists with the battery alone or even when the device is connected to the wall outlet? please verify.
- Have you had any thunderstorms lately, before this issue occurred?
- If yes, this could be a hardware malfunction that requires a repair.
- If no, try the below steps:
