My Laptop fan keeps running even after shutdown until the battery drains out. I own a HP Probook 440 G4. It runs Windows 10 with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD. The fan turns on whenever I shut down or sleep the PC. Whenever I shut down or sleep the PC the fan turns on and runs at the highest speed until the battery drains out completely.

I've disabled fast boot as recommended by an article I found online but the problem still remains. Please what do I need to do to keep the fan from coming on whenever I shut down or sleep my system
