Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP Pavilion g6-1001sa Notebook PC and it no longer powers on. You have performed a hard reset and still, there is no power. You've done a remarkable job performing the steps.
To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Do you see any lights on the laptop (could be on the power button, the place where the charger plugs into the laptop, etc.)?
I suggest you to try powering on the laptop by connecting only the ac adapter (keep the battery out) and also try to power on the laptop with the battery alone.
If you see any lights visible on the laptop only then perform a BIOS rollback. Please refer to the steps mentioned under "Step 1: Recover the BIOS using a key press combination".
I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Let me know. All the best! 🙂

The laptop works now,it was so hard opening it fully, but we noticed that the little plastic strap connected to the power button came off.
And we cleaned the fan this time but it still makes loud noises and it overheats.
But other than that its all good😊

Glad to know the laptop is working fine.
But if the fan is making a loud noise and if the laptop overheats then the steps from this HP document should help.
Cheers!
