HP Pavilion - 15-cs3055wm
Microsoft Windows 11

Out Pavilion 15-cs3055wm laptop will not boot up from the internal SSD and says boot device not found and gives the Hard Disk 3F0 error code.  I have gone into the diagnostics section and did the quick check on the hard drive and it came back with Smart Check Passed but Short DST Not Available.  This computer originally had Windows 10 on it but has been updated to Windows 11.

One thing I have accomplished is to update to the latest BIOS by creating a BIOS recovery USB through the HP site and using the Windows Key+B method since my diagnostics choices don't include anything related to the BIOS, like some examples show.  This generally did not make a difference with the issue.

I have also created a bootable USB using the HP Cloud Recovery tool to try and get it to to boot from the USB to try and get to some troubleshooting or recovery tools, but it will not boot to this USB (I have actually created 2 in the same way in case one was not working right).  I have the BIOS set up to go to the USB or I use F9 for boot options to make sure the USB is selected.  It will either show the HP logo or the Windows logo and will do the spinning circle of dots for some amount of time and then either will go to the Blue Screen and will say "Stop code: DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL; What failed: iaStorAC.sys", or it will just get locked at the HP logo and the spinning dots would just stop.  Originally all I got was it locking up at the HP logo but since updating the BIOS it will sometimes make it to the Blue Screen (I guess that seems like it gets farther).

I have an adapter coming so I can remove the SSD to connect it to another computer to see if I can at least get to it and try and recover some files, but I am at a loss for why it won't boot to the USB created with the HP Cloud Recovery tool.  I am no IT genius but am not clueless, either, and have been able to research out some options, but can't seem to find a post with the same problem.  I have seen suggestions to create a bootable USB using Rufus but have not tried this yet (not familiar with that), but probably will soon.  Any help to try and get it to boot to the USB for troubleshooting or attempting a recovery would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Thanks Banhien, that is actually one of the first pieces of guidance I found and tried to follow.  I did reset the BIOS defaults and did get the BIOS updated, which I was eventually able to do, just not exactly with their directions since it assumed there would be an option in the F2 diagnostics screen to update the BIOS (I had to use the Windows Key+B method to get it to update the BIOS from the USB I made).  I also ran the check on the drive from the diagnostics screen as I mentioned above and got the Short DTS Not Available result.

I have not been able to reinstall Windows because I can't get the computer to boot from the USB I made using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool, which is the problem I'm trying to solve now, with the hope that getting that to boot will get me to some tools that will help me get farther.  It is trying to boot from the USB but then either locks or goes to the Blue Screen I mentioned above.  Thanks.
