Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0013dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I press the power button, I get a screen with the word “locking” in the middle and my laptop goes into sleep mode. How do I change it to sleep or shut down? 1. Press the power button. 2. The hibernating and locking screen appear after 1-2 seconds and the laptop screen goes black. 3. The laptop goes into sleep mode after about 10-12 seconds. Whenever I turn it on, I am asked to enter my password or PIN. Has Windows 10.

I followed the instructions on how to turn off and on Hibernation. Now I know how to hibernate the laptop.
