Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This will open a menu where F10 BIOS setup is an option. Tap F10 key and enter BIOS. Once in tap F5 to reset to Default settings. Save and Exit.

1-What problems were you having that led to doing a hard reset?
2-Is the hard drive recognized in BIOS?
