HP 255R 15.6 inch G10 Notebook PC (AN6P7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Often, when opening the laptop and using the buttons and mouth to wake the computer, it doesn't wake up. The On/Off button light is turned on but the screen is black and isn't waking. When pressing the On/Off button for a few seconds, just after 10 seconds it's turned off. When pressing again it turned on but today it appeared that the screen is still black and the computer haven't woken up.

Surprisingly, after a few hours the computer woke up as nothing happened and it is working fine.

What can be the problem ?

Hi @Ofir14

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that the laptop is not waking properly from Sleep, and that the screen remains black even though the power light is on. I would request you to please perform a hard reset and then install the latest BIOS, chipset, and graphics drivers available for your HP 255R G10 Notebook PC. https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

Once the updates are installed, please restart the laptop and check whether the issue occurs again when waking it from Sleep.

Take care and have an amazing day!
