HP Recommended
HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-c3000 (767L5AV)

HP recommendation was to drop it off for repair at designated HP warranty location ((Geek Squad).  They claimed they are not a warranty location and that I needed to get a label and ship it to HP directly.  I need it for work.  This needs to be resolved.  It is packed in a box ready to go.   I do not have direct access to an email response as I have to access through other locations.  I can't log in.

I wish we could help you on this but we here are unable to assist you in this issue.


We are just a Community Support forum staffed by part-time volunteers not associated with HP.


We have no access to other HP functional areas and can not help you with those.


These areas include:
-- Billing and invoices
-- Repairs, Service Centers and Technician Visits
-- Sales, Exchanges and Refunds
-- Warranty: Repairs, Service, Returns, Exchanges


Nor are we able to contact customers -- via chat, via email, or via telephone.


If this device is still under warranty, for direct contact with HP, your best bet is to contact HP Customer Service to see what they will do for you:
