Hi @Nishad3

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for reaching out—I'm really sorry your HP Victus isn’t powering on. Based on similar cases, this issue can stem from a power delivery fault, embedded controller lock, or battery circuit failure

Let’s walk through a safe and effective recovery process:

Step-by-Step Fix: HP Victus Not Powering On

1. Perform a Hard Reset

This clears residual charge and resets the embedded controller.

  • Disconnect the charger and all peripherals.
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Release, then reconnect the charger (without pressing power yet).
  • Wait 1 minute, then press the power button once.

If the laptop powers on briefly and shuts off again, continue to the next step.

2. Check Charging LED Behavior

  • Solid white or amber light: Battery is charging normally.
  • Blinking light (1–5 seconds): Indicates a hardware fault or power lockout.
  • No light at all: May suggest charger or board failure.

Try a different wall outlet or a known-good HP charger if available.

3. Attempt Boot Without Battery (If Removable)

  • Remove the battery (if accessible).
  • Connect only the charger and try powering on.
  • If it boots, the battery may be faulty or triggering protection mode.

4. Inspect for Signs of Life

  • Do fans spin briefly?
  • Does the keyboard backlight flash?
  • Any faint screen flicker?

Even a brief response can help narrow down the fault to power delivery vs. board-level failure.

Let me know if you saw any blinking lights or if the laptop responded even briefly—I’ll guide you further.

You're doing everything right by catching this early.
