OMEN by HP 15t-dc100 CTO

Hello,

I have an Omen 15. The only issues I’ve ever had was an overheating problem two years ago that was resolved by purchasing and using a cooling pad. I literally don’t use the laptop without it.

Today I was working on homework, and powered off my laptop to get dinner. When I got back and pressed the power button, the LED on the button came on like usual, but then cut off. I tried again, noticing that the cooling pad attached via usb also came on and immediately shut off again. The computer was plugged in, and the white LED on the side indicating a full charge was on. I repeated this a few times, and the screen never came on.

I’ve tried a hard reset to no avail. Any other possible issues this could be?

I suggest that you follow the steps listed below to perform a hard reset on the unit.
1> Turn off the laptop, disconnect the power adapter.
2> Press and hold the F6 and power button for 20 seconds.
3> Then connect the power cable back and try turning on the laptop.
