So j woke up this morning and looked at my laptop, it was plugged in with the white light showing it was fully charged.

So I came back to it a few minutes later and the light was off and the computer would not start up.

I tried a hard restart and nothing. No lights or sounds.

Any ideas on what I can do? I work off of this computer and would really hate to lose it.

Thanks

Ok, so. I saw somewhere randomly someone stating to do the hard restart and instead of holding the power button for 15 seconds, they were suggesting 60 seconds.

I did that and it started right up!

Thanks for your help.

I would still like to know if it is normal for your call to HP to get disconnected and you called back on a private number. Seems sketch to me.

I tried calling the number. I got a busy tone after a few rings then got a call back from a private number. Is this normal? They won't do anything for me unless I purchase a 1 year warranty.

Please, can you tell me what other information should I be providing?

This laptop is a few years old. I haven't had any issues like this before. The charge has always been fine.

It was fully charged this morning but by the time I got to it the entire computer was completely "dead" there are no signs of life. Nothing lights up or makes any noise at all.

Thank you.
