HP Notebook - 15-ba047na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop has been constantly rebooting itself randomly for the past month. I'll be doing nothing abnormal, no increased workload and no added stress on the computer and it'll suddenly shut down and restart. This process can take a while to get back to the lock screen and the desktop, with frequent and long pauses of black screen before and after signing in, before the computer is usable. Sometimes when it happens, I'll be logged into a guest profile or something like that on windows, asking me to sign out and sign back in because there was an error logging me in. After this, sometimes it'll be fine and not reboot again for a while. Other times, it reboots only a few minutes after logging back into windows and I'll be stuck with a computer that only functions in a few minute bursts, quite slowly, with 7+ minute long intervals in between.

I have turned off automatic restart in system properties, run Malwarebytes with a clean outcome, and even fresh installed Windows 10 on the laptop among other things, but to no avail. Another issue this laptop has is its fans whirring up to very loud speeds frequently. The problem is very annoying and intrusive, in fact as I was writing this question it rebooted multiple times. How can I fix this?

@Anthony0520

The computer might be overheating due to the Fan issue and that is what is causing the Notebook to shut down

I suggest you update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Also follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01007591

If the issue persists, run an extensive System Test to confirm the Hardware Functionality

- Shut down the Notebook completely
- Turn it back on, then tap the Esc key repeatedly until the Startup menu screen is displayed.
- Press F2 to select System Diagnostics.
- Click System Tests, then click Extensive Test.

Have a great day 😊
