I shut my HP laptop yesterday night down. Today, morning when I am trying to open it, the screen is not opening but the light at the corner of power button keeps on blinking like for it turns on for 2-3 seconds, then goes off for a second and the cycle repeats.

Perform a System Restore

  • Open Control Panel and search for Recovery.
  • Click Open System Restore.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to restore the system to a previous point where it was working correctly.

Running the AC adapter test

  • In HP PC Hardware Diagnostics,
  • select “Component Tests”
  • Power” and choose
