HP Recommended

I bought a new HP omni X AI laptop about 2 yrs ago. A few months after purchase, it stopped powering on. Being under warranty then, I was sent to HP and they said they reseated the battery and worked fine. It did work the first time when I brought it home. did not use it for months and when I needed to use it again, it won't power up, by then the warranty has expired.

Since then, I have to remove the battery cord... put the power cord to the computer....press the power button a few times and reattach the battery cord (this is the cord that goes into the internal battery)...before it powers on. works fine once it powers on.

I run HP diagnostics, passes w/o error or fault identified. I tied pressing the power button for 15 min or more.

Looking for any help
