Laptop keeps switching itself off even when battery is fully charged and plugged into mains.

Two things we need to identify, if this is either a hardware or a software issue and if it is either of the two, what exactly is it, so we could fix it accordingly, let's start with a hard reset to refresh the settings, use this link to go through the process: Select either the removable battery or the non removable battery depending on what you have: Click here for the steps.

 

Once done, If your machine has UEFI Diagnostics, run the Quick test first, if no errors are found, run the Extensive test.

Rapidly tap the F2 key when you first power on the laptop. Make sure the power cord is plugged in.
