I understand that your HP laptop shuts down when you lift or move it. I’ll be glad to help you with this. Since physical movement is triggering the shutdown, I’d first like to understand exactly what is happening before we determine the next step.
 

Please provide the following information:

• What is the exact HP laptop model/product number?
• Was the laptop dropped, bumped, or subjected to any accidental or liquid damage before this started?
• Do you see any physical damage, loose panels, damaged hinges, or a swollen/bulging area?
• Does the laptop turn off whenever you lift it, or only when you lift it from a particular side or corner?
• Does the same issue occur when the AC adapter is connected, when running on battery, or in both situations?
• When it turns off, does it shut down completely without any warning, or does the screen simply go blank?
• Can you immediately turn the laptop back on afterwards?
• Are there any blinking Caps Lock/Num Lock lights, beeps, or error messages when you restart it?
• Did the issue begin after any BIOS/Windows update, repair, battery replacement, or other hardware change?
   

Try BIOS recovery

As a preliminary check, you can try the HP BIOS recovery process and let us know what happens.
 

HP documents Windows + B as the manual BIOS-recovery key combination on supported notebooks. However, HP notebooks equipped with HP Sure Start do not support manual Windows + B BIOS recovery because Sure Start handles BIOS recovery automatically.
 

If your model supports manual BIOS recovery:

1. Turn the laptop off and keep the AC adapter connected.
2. Press and hold the Windows + B keys.
3. While continuing to hold the keys, press the Power button.
4. If the HP BIOS Update/Recovery screen appears, follow the instructions displayed on the screen and allow the recovery process to complete.

HP advises that BIOS recovery is intended for situations involving possible BIOS corruption, including boot failures, blank-screen startup conditions, and certain blinking-light conditions.
 

Please do not install a BIOS meant for another HP model. HP specifically cautions that the BIOS must be designed for the exact computer model.
 

Once you reply with the exact HP model/product number, whether there has been any physical/drop/liquid damage, and what happens when you try BIOS recovery, we can determine the appropriate next step.
