When running on battery power the laptop runs very slow, when I connect it to AC - it runs normal.
If I re-install the original battery, it runs normal on battery or AC power.
I found someone disabled the intelppm.sys driver, I tried this - didn't help.
In the HP Support Assistant - I ran the Battery Test - it shows "Normal" on the replacement battery.
I ran a battery report in PowerShell: powercfg /batteryreport /output "C:\battery-report.html"
One thing different between the two batteries is:
The original shows DESIGN CAPACITY 18,850 mWh
The replacement shows DESIGN CAPACITY 40,128 mWh
Why does it run slow on the new battery?
I'll buy another battery, but I cannot find one on HP's site.
If someone knows where to get an OEM replacement, please let me know.
I installed this replacement battery:
"NinjaBatt HT03XL L11119-855 Laptop Battery for HP"
Found it at: https://www.amazon.com/NinjaBatt-HT03XL-L11119-855-15-DW0033NR-15-CS0053CL/dp/B09Q35B6PB/ref=cm_cr_a...
