Product: HP ProBook 4710s Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My computer went to a black screen while in my email. Cntrl,alt,del does not respond held the power button to turn off. When it came back up it said repair recommended or start windows normally. I have tried both and they go to black screen. Then I tried f5 at start up safe mode is a black screen then it goes to blue. I ran a hard disk test it failed error: Read failure error: Read failure

This nearly always means the primary drive has failed, will need to be replaced, and Windows reinstalled on the PC.
