Hi all

Laptop won't boot, caps lock is blinking twice.  Tried removing the battery holding down power button to reset, doesn't fix it.   Still boots occasionally and is fine when it does.  Can't get to bios, doesn't seem to do anything when it won't boot.

Many thanks all

John

I've seen this problem a lot on the internet and I've found the solution. Black screen with the caps lock blinking twice apparently means the BIOS is corrupt.  Solution is to do a flash of the BIOS from a USB drive.

Here's how it's done.
