So I recently had to restore my laptop . It was fine until I noticed it was running a bit slow so I deleted a couple of unnecessary games and apps I had on here that I wouldn’t need and I probably might’ve deleted something I did need without knowing. Anyway I was playing a  game and the game froze so I had to shut off the computer and when I went to turn it back on it loads up to a blue screen asking me to choose my keyboard layout only to then load up to troubleshoot. I’ve tried everything on it even tried to reset it to previous setting but I keep getting errors. I’ll add photos .

Hey there! @SelenaSaez,

Was there any recent windows update done on your PC?

By default system restore is not enabled on Windows 10. You need to manually enable it to use the system restore.

Enable System Restore

If System Restore does not work, use the following steps to make sure System Restore is enabled and active.
Save any open files and close all open programs.
In Windows, search for restore, and then open Create a restore point from the results list.
In System Properties on the System Protection tab, select your hard drive, and then click Configure.
The System Protection for Local Disk window opens.
Click Turn on system protection, and then click OK.

Also, Try the steps recommended below.

If System Restore taking forever Windows 10 issue happens, it is likely that certain files get damaged.

Here, run System File Check to scan Windows and check if it helps.

Enter WinRE by using an installation media, just like the way 1 shows.
Then, navigate to Choose an option > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Command Prompt.
Choose an account and enter the password.
Type sfc /scannow in the pop-out window and press Enter to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows 10.

Then, make a System Restore again to see whether it is stuck on restoring files or initializing.

Lastly, if the issue still persists after trying out the steps, try performing a complete system reset on the PC using the recovery partition.
