Product: HP envy 360x
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Brand new laptop just unboxed, when starting up comes up with a black screen and error ‘please install an operating system on your hard disk- (3F0)’

any ideas? Tried the f2 and f10 checks.

Generally speaking, some computers do not come with Windows preinstalled.

In these cases, users should purchase a license and manually install the selected/desired operating system for such devices.

The message states there is no (or no working) operating system present.

 

But we can check what is the issue.
