Laptop won't power on.

My computer was working fine and now it does not turn on. When I press the power button I see a white light that turns on intermittently. I have tried disconnecting the battery and pressing the power button for 30 seconds, only using the AC adapter, trying a different AC adapter, and none of it has worked.
