Laptop won't power up

My laptop will not power up.  I have tried disconnecting the battery and using just the power cord.  I have used a c style power cord.  Nothing.  The power light where the charger plugs in lights up.  I push the power button and nothing happens.  No light, no blinking, nothing.

This is what finally worked after trying everything else.  😀(CMOS Reset): Press and hold the Windows Key + V, then press and hold the Power Button simultaneously for 10 seconds. Release all keys and wait to see if the power button lights up
