Laptop won't start

Spectre 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Spectre 360 i7. Bought this 11/2017 and it failed two months ago. After latest update, I noticed my battery was dead every time I opened it up. At first thought it sat for too long but I charged it, closed lid and next morning it was dead. Plugged it in and it started up tar fine then I realized it would not turn off using shutdown menu, had to hold power button till it shutdown. I found out that was a mistake because now when power button is pushed, the led lights on button but screen stays black.

Please perform a Power drain and let me know if that helps. You can refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01684768

 

Next try getting to BIOS and let me know if that works

 

Shut down the Notebook and upon restarting keep tapping on the F10 key till you see System Configuration Menu ( BIOS )
