Hello! I need assistance with my HP Pavilion 16-ag0046AU.
My laptop isn't displaying anything. When I tried turning it on, the indicator lights came on, but the screen remained completely black and the HP logo did not appear.
Initially, after a forced shutdown, the Caps Lock light repeatedly flashed five times slowly, followed by three rapid flashes, then paused and repeated. After I accidentally pressed the power button, the Caps Lock blinking stopped, but the power-button light remained on. The fans are running, but the keyboard backlight is off and the screen is still black.
I have already tried a force shutdown, a power reset with the charger disconnected, and charging the laptop for at least 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the issue persists.
Could you please help me determine the cause and advise me on how to proceed with a warranty diagnosis or repair?
Thank you!

Since you’ve already tried a power reset and charging the laptop, this may be a hardware issue. The Caps Lock blinking pattern is also important because it can help identify the problem.
Try holding the power button for about 15 seconds to turn it off, then turn it back on and check if the blinking returns. If the screen stays black, I’d contact HP support for a warranty check, especially since the laptop won’t even show the HP logo.
