Product: HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 (2D118AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, my laptop has randomly decided to start not turning on. When I press the power button the power light turns on for a second then turns back off. It can still charge as the ac adaptor light it coming on and working but the laptop just seems to not want to turn on. Please help

Is this a problem only on the first time you start it up from being powered off?

 

You can try holding the power button for 15 seconds or more -- until the laptop completely shuts down. IF it then powers on OK, it is a problem with the Power settings.
