Product: HP Pavilion 14 Laptop PC 14-dv2000 (4Z018AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I installed the newest BIOS from the Windows upgrade start menu yesterday (12th October) and since then the laptop won't charge when it is turned on (it still charges when powered off)
I checked the diagnostics UEFI, and it found no problems with the battery or AC adapter, saying they both passed and were OK
There is nothing wrong with the charger/adapter I tested both on a different HP laptop
I had the same problem with the laptop not charging a few months ago and took it to Currys (a store that sells and repairs computers) and the solution was upgrading the BIOS (the version I used from then until October 12th)
The laptop is still in warranty.
