Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I did bios update says security changed so couldn't use pin and can't get in with Microsoft account.  HELP

@Dardaughter Welcome to HP Community!

 

I understand that you are unable to use the pin after updating the BIOS.

 

Please provide the correct model number.

 

To diagnose and address the problem, we suggest starting your computer in safe mode and check if the PIN is working while in that state. If it's working.

 

Please see Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10.

 

(HP does not recommend upgrades as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance and also, the upgradeable parts listed in HP articles are purely for your ease, though the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion)

 

Please try the below steps and check.

 

Press the Windows key and then followed by the key "B" this time and then the power button for around 3-4 seconds, then release the power button and continue to hold windows+B for 3-4 seconds more.

Thanks for taking so long to respond. It took me 2 days of working with Microsoft support to resolve the issue. What you provided was not the resolution.
