Hi Gaya1239II

I really feel like a dunce!  I was using my notebook unplugged for most of the day. All of the sudden the word "locked" appeared on the screen and the notebook shut off.  When I couldn't reboot, I posted my question.  I put the notebook on my desk and plugged it in.  Just for the heck of it I tried to boot up and it worked!  My battery was at 0% and started to charge.  So I guess the reason I got the locked screen was because the battery was dead.  I never let the battery run down before.

Everything is back to normal and working fine.  Many thanks for your quick response and help.
