The date of my recent BIOS is November 2023. Every BIOS for my model has started with F. It shipped with F.19, was updated to F.20 in June 2022, and so on.
The letter in the BIOS has nothing to do with with the month it was released.
Logofail was discovered in the middle of 2023. The information was only released to the public in late November.

I got a BIOS update for my HP Pavilion today. It is F.24 dated 11/2/2023. I had checked just 2 or 3 days ago and there was nothing. It does not say it's for the Logofail vulnerability but I think it likely is based on the timing.
