Product: HP Envy x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-es1000 (8Y9G6AV)

I recently purchased a HP envy laptop and right from day 1, there is loud noise from the fan. It is not continuous but there is noise while plugged to the charger, opening new windows on internet explorer, or just randomly in the middle of work. There is also an issue with apps like Adobe and Microsoft word not responding occasionally. The device is not even 2 weeks old and I wonder how it would run in the coming months.
