Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hello

Today I had only one problem with my  desktop HP Elite 8100 with problem 2231 ME error during MEBx execution but after folloving instructions my PC is 100% dead. I pressed CMOS button and reset the settings after that I did cold restart BIOS with battery. Now my problem is ME unconfiguration in process.  My PC consantly shows this message and reboots. Does anybody know a solution of this problem.

Have you tried Updating the BIOS and Intel Management Engine firmware to the latest? If that does not work then the Motherboard will need to be replaced in the system.

Yes before I updated BIOS via HP Cervice Center but without any result.

Best case at this point to have the motherboard replaced.  i was doing some research on this problem and that is what most people suggested to be done to the computer.

it COMPAQ that word means OLD
