Greetings...
I have an issue with your Microsoft Edge Program on this store bought windows 10 HP Laptop that has been upgraded to Pro though Windows
The current version of Edge is as such: Microsoft Edge 25.10586.0.0
Microsoft Edge HTML 13.10586
Copyright 2015 Microsoft
Problem is the back arrow ( button ) on top left of screen alot of times is not functional,... its NOT greyed out, but simply does not work... you end up eventually giving up and hitting the home button but its not to helpful in many situations.
Example:... you are on MSN, possibly 3/4 of the way down massive screen and click onto a news story, then when done attempt to hit back button you go back to where you were on screen... if this does not work you hit home and end up at top of screen and have to take the time to find where you were.
Sounds petty, but it is certainly a timesaver if you have limited amount of time to do something like this,... the wrong way is simply frustrating.
I find it sometimes works,... alot of times it does not and here is my findings:
Sometimes when you click it,... and your not in the center of that small box that highlights just before you click it, you go nowhere, and you can click it this way 3, 4 many times more with the same results... eventually the circles appear and it looks like its working, but you end up a couple of pages back rather than only one.
When its working its great, and if you in fact hover the mouse to the center of that shaded box agin it also pops up "Back" and this sometimes gets you the one page back you are looking for.
I know its not the connection to the web,... other browswers have no problem, and even when it does not go back like I wanted I can click home and get immediate results.
Not every news feed mind you, and not every time, but just suggesting there seems to be a problem that needs to be addressed.
Thank you: Colin Nelson

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!
Sorry you're having trouble with Edge on Win10, but there are some things you need to know:
1) It is not HP's product; instead, it is Microsoft's product -- which means, HP has nothing whatsoever to do with it working or not working, as the case may be.
2) Edge is a half-baked, not nearly done, metro-ized replacement for Internet Explorer -- and will, for some time to come, continue to be unreliable, as MS is constantly working on it.
3) If you want a working MS-provided Browser in Win10, then ditch Edge and use Internet Explorer -- as many of us from the Windows Insider program have done, as we prefer IE over Edge. The instructions for using IE are here: Solved How to reset IE as default browser instead of Edge - Windows 10 Forums
If you really want to stick with Edge, then the best place to get answers to Edge questions is the community Win10 forums: http://www.tenforums.com/
Good Luck
