HP Notebook - 15-da0082cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed a new secondary sdd in my m.2 slot. Samsung 970- EVO plus. Laptop not recognizing it. HP Support Assistant said to do a BIOS update at HP.com. In trying to accomplish that, the update said to get my bitlocker key from Microsoft.com. When I went there, there was no bitlocker key on the computer.

I recently replaced my hdd with a Samsung 870 EVO SATA III SSD which is working properly and recognized.

Is it possible that I don't have a bitlocker key? I don't want to update the BIOS until I know I can get back in. Thanks in advance
