HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d5000 (4V9Y1AV)

My 2 month old laptop is not booting up. Power light is on but no response.

How did this happen?

 

-Power surge?

- Add memory or install new device?

-Update BIOS?

-Windows update?

 

Try a hard reset

  • Turn on the computer by holding the power button down for 20 full seconds then release.
  • Press the Power button one more time (if necessary) to start the computer.

 

Any blinking lights or beeps?

HP have not solved this.

I have sent it to them to investigate and repair under warranty.
