My Altech Lansing HP G61 is not booting

My altec Lansing HP g61 is not powering on I can press the power button and it'll turn on but it will not boot after pressing the power button two flashing lights occur at the same time every 3 seconds one next to the caps lock button in one next to the altec Lansing logo. If I let it sit for a couple days and go back to it it'll turn back on but it'll cut out in the middle of me using it or won't turn back on after being turned off
