Product: HP Chromebook 11 ae027nr

Cannot get my Chromebook to charge or turn on. When the adapter is plugged in the orange charging light comes on for a second and then goes off.

are you able to power up you chrome book with your power adapter?  try remove the battery and plugged in your power adapter to your laptop and try to turn on.
Are you able to confirm that your power adapter still working?

Otherwise i am afraid that your laptop motherboard is fried already
