The HD is failing (ST1000LM035). I have ordered a replacement. How will I re-install Windows 10? What do I need? I can't contact HP.
I have been getting the black screen with BOOT DEVICE NOT FOUND. Hard Disk <3F0>
It will boot up after a couple of hours, run again for several hours but, eventually the same thing happens.

Hi:
Your notebook should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool.
If your PC is not working, use another Windows PC with W7 64 bit or newer and a 32 GB USB flash drive, to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
