HP 250 G8 Notebook PC (1T4K4AV)

after replacing the old LCD, the laptop is booting up but the monitor is installed improperly and nothin shows on the monitor, so i pushed the power button for few seconds to force shutdown, after fixing the monitor cable, i pushed the power button, nothing happened, just the LED indicator on the side turning on for five seconds

If the monitor cable was connected improperly, that could have shorted out something on the motherboard, and if that happened, the laptop is basically dead.
