Hi @Caleb224,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • When you press the power button, do you see any lights (on the keyboard, power button, or charging port)?
  • Do you hear the fan or any sounds from the laptop?
  • Is the screen completely black, or does it show the HP logo before stopping?
  • Have you recently installed any updates or new hardware?

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check the Power Adapter and Battery: Ensure the charger is properly connected and the LED indicator near the charging port lights up. If possible, try a different compatible adapter.
  2. Remove External Devices: Disconnect USB drives, external monitors, or accessories, then try powering on again.
  3. Perform a BIOS Recovery: On many HP laptops, pressing Windows key + B while holding the power button for a few seconds can trigger a BIOS recovery screen.
  4. Try Safe Mode/Startup Repair: If the HP logo appears, repeatedly press F11 to access recovery options. From there, you can attempt Startup Repair.

I hope this helps.
