HP Notebook - 15-bs212wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

While I was on my HP 15 Laptop PC Microsoft Windows 10  Product Number 3TT16UA#ABA a Message Popped up and asked if I wanted to see if my Computer was Compatible with the Windows 11 update? And I selected yes! Then it started doing the Check and shortly after that it just Froze up! Now the Screen will come on but it doesn't show the Log In space or Bar! How can I reset this Microsoft PC without Signing in? The Computer is Linked to my Samsung Galaxy S21 Cellphone! It's like the Screen is just Frozen right there! I have a Strong WiFi Signal showing at the Bottom right of the Screen! All there is showing is the Battery Icon and the WiFi Icon! And on the Left it shows the Time and Date and Day of the Week! only!  There is a Landscape photo in the Background so it is on the Sign in or Log in Page! And all the Updates were caught up earlier that day!

Hi @Johnnybgood0765
Welcome to HP Support Community. This is a great place to post questions and find answers.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you do not get the sign-in screen on your HP Notebook - 15-Bs212wm.

Please follow the steps listed below.
1. Hold down the shift key on your keyboard while clicking the Power button on the screen.
2. Continue to hold down the shift key while clicking Restart.
3. Continue to hold down the shift key until the Advanced Recovery Options menu appears.
4. Click Troubleshoot
5. Click Advanced options
6. Click Startup repair
When complete, reboot into Windows then check if you are able to sign in.

Let me know if this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
