Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So all it does is light the power button for 2 seconds twice and nothing no matter what i tried the hold power with no AC since it has no removable other than AC and nothing so far.

Ive tried:

1. remove power and hold Power for 30/1minute

2. hold power + Windows + B

3. Hold power + escape

ONLY way i got it to work was to open it up and disconnect the battery and only then it would turn on with only the ac connected and no battery and i tried installed windows 10 + removing battery drivers to see if that would fix it and nothing so do we just assume its a battery fault? or could it be the system not making it work? because the AC doesnt even charge the battery since i get no power up without the AC connected.

@John760,

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is not booting to Windows when the battery is connected.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then it could be the battery or the battery connection on the motherboard. You can try replacing the battery and check if that resolves the issue or else we need to replace the battery connector on the motherboard.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
