From so may days my hp laptop is not supporting well. Sometimes it takes screenshots automatically and continuously without any command while during work. And all the it scrolls the screen automatically without even touching the touchpad. I've taken Antivirus subscription also and all the settings. It's a hardware problem.

Hi @EI8,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing some frustrating issues with your HP laptop. Automatic scrolling and taking screenshots without input can indeed be quite disruptive. Since you've already checked your antivirus and settings, and suspect it might be a hardware issue, here are a few steps you can take to try and troubleshoot.
- Clean the Touchpad: Sometimes, dirt or debris on the touchpad can cause erratic behavior. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the touchpad surface gently.
- Update Drivers: Outdated touchpad drivers can also cause issues. You can update your touchpad drivers through the Device Manager in Windows. Right-click on the Start button, then select "Device Manager." Expand the "Mice and other pointing devices" section, right-click on your touchpad, and select "Update driver."
- Disable Touchpad: Temporarily disable the touchpad to see if the issue persists. Most HP laptops have a function key that can disable the touchpad. Look for a key with an icon that looks like a touchpad (often F6 or F7) and press it to disable. If the scrolling stops, it might indeed be a touchpad issue.
- External Mouse: If you have an external USB mouse, try using that instead of the touchpad. If the scrolling stops, it's likely a touchpad problem.
- Check for Physical Damage: Inspect the touchpad for any physical damage.
- System Restore: If the issue started recently, you might try using System Restore to revert your system to a point before the problem began. This can sometimes fix software-related issues.
- Hardware Diagnostics: HP laptops often have built-in hardware diagnostics tools. You can usually access these by pressing F2 or ESC during boot-up. Run a full system diagnostic to check for any hardware issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
