HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-eu0000 (267R8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My HP - PC ENVY x360 15-eu0000sl Notebook one day turned off without my intervention while I was using it. I tried to turn on the Laptop several times. During the majority of the attempts it did not turned on, rarely it turned on but the screen was pitch black. In other cases it turned on, the display functioned properly, but after 5 minutes it would turn off automatically. The Laptop wasn't overheating in any of the scenarios I just described.

@MossPress, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Hard Reset

Unplug everything

Hold the power button for 15–20 seconds

Plug in the charger only, try to turn it on

External Monitor Test

Connect to another screen with HDMI

If it shows something there, your laptop screen may be bad

BIOS Recovery

Turn off laptop

Hold Windows + B

Press the power button for 2 seconds (keep holding Windows + B)

Release all — it may recover BIOS

Try without the Battery (if removable)

Run only on the charger

Run HP Diagnostics

If it turns on, press Esc right away

Then press F2 to run system tests

Let me know how it goes.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
