my victus laptop doesn't turn on. It only shows a black screen with my power button LED on and that of the caps lock blinking 5 times ( out of which the first 3 blink slowly and the last two blink at a faster speed). I do not know how to get it fixed. Help me out. Thank you.

Hi @brolin ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The blinking LED pattern on your HP Victus laptop is an indicator of a hardware issue. In this case, the 5-blink pattern usually points to a system board or motherboard failure.
Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check the Power Supply:
- Ensure that your laptop is receiving power from the AC adapter.
- Make sure the power outlet is functioning properly.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the laptop battery.
- Hold down the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery and AC adapter, then try turning the laptop on.
Test with External Display:
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor using the appropriate cable.
- If the external display shows the same issue, it's likely a hardware problem.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
