Hi @Sbadom,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP Pavilion x360 14 might be having trouble booting up after the Windows 11 update. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
Hard Reset:
- Disconnect all external devices (USB drives, printers, etc.).
- Press and hold the power button for about 15-20 seconds to perform a hard reset.
- Plug the power adapter back in and try turning on the laptop.
Check the Battery:
- If possible, remove the battery (if it’s removable) and power the laptop with just the AC adapter.
- If the laptop turns on, you may need to replace the battery.
Boot into Safe Mode:
- Try booting into Safe Mode to see if the issue is related to a driver or software conflict.
- To enter Safe Mode, repeatedly press F8 or Shift + F8 immediately after turning on the laptop. You may need to try this a few times.
Use Recovery Options:
- If you can access the Recovery Environment, use the following steps:
- Turn off the laptop.
- Turn it on and immediately press the F11 key repeatedly until the HP Recovery Manager opens.
- Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
Update BIOS:
- Sometimes, BIOS updates can resolve compatibility issues. Check HP’s support website for any available BIOS updates for your model.
Reinstall Windows:
- If all else fails, you might need to perform a clean installation of Windows. You can use a Windows 11 installation media (USB or DVD) to reinstall the OS.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
