my laptop kept telling me an error occured and was collecting data then restart.  Once I would let it run its course the startup would give me the same error message.  I got tired of messing with it and closed the laptop and put it away.  When I went back to it a couple days later it won't even come on.  I searched up options and did the hard reset but that hasn't helped any.  I noticed the led next to the power plug doesn't even come on.  I went and bought another power supply and nothing has changed.  I can hear the disc drive start and then stop but nothing.  That is all I get.  Please help me as I have always trusted HP products and really can't afford to just run out and buy another laptop plus lose all that is on there.

This is a hardware issue, please Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
