If the laptop suddenly switched OFF and now, will not even turn ON -- there is literally NOTHING you can do to diagnose the problems with it, nor can we -- since we have no access to it.
If you had critical work-related files on it and failed to go to the trouble to do backups of those, they are likely to be lost. I do backups every week as eventually, every laptop or desktop will have the driver fail.
Your only option now is to take the laptop into a local laptop repair shop to see if they can do anything to get it working again.
