Hi @MinaBaj,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Restart the Laptop in Safe Mode:

  • Restart your laptop.
  • During boot, press F8 repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears.
  • Select Safe Mode and press Enter.

Perform a System Restore:

  • In Safe Mode, type System Restore in the search bar and select it from the results.
  • Follow the prompts to restore your system to an earlier point before the issue occurred.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Check for updates and install any available updates.

Run a System File Checker (SFC) Scan:

  • Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
  • Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
  • Wait for the scan to complete and follow any on-screen instructions.

Update BIOS and Drivers Again:

  • If the BIOS update was incomplete, download the latest version from the HP Drivers & Downloads page using another device.
  • Ensure all essential drivers are up to date by checking the Device Manager in Safe Mode.

Reset the PC:

  • If the above steps do not work, you may need to perform a system reset.
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your computer. Note that resetting the PC will remove all personal files, so ensure you have backed up your data.

I hope this helps.
