Hello Hp support community. I was without my HP Probook 640 G1 laptop for 3 months and I tried turning it on today but for hours now, it can't turn on. The battery was fully charged but it's not turning on even when plugged in. Please how can I make it power on? Thanks for your assistance

Pages 5-12 of the users manual explain the LED lights and what they mean.

Unplug from wall and remove the battery.  Press the power on button a few times then connect the A/C

Try the power on. If it does not power up then hold down the power on button for 25 seconds. Make sure at least 25 seconds.  If in doubt time it.

If it does not power up possibly a problem with system.  Overheated in storage, CMOS battery on motherboard leaked, etc. I am just guessing.

You may want to examine the CMOS battery for leakage. It is at time 36:02 in this disassembly video

You can try resetting the CMOS as follows

Hold those keys down while you turn the laptop on.
